Definitely the best one I've ever had
Some of the cheaper models work with lightweight mics
But this one has better balance or something

I bought this to replace the inexpensive boom arm that I've been using..

The Blue adjustable dekstop boom arm is vastly superior in its construction, design and use.

First, there are no exposed springs or knobs. This means that you aren't going to catch your clothing, fingers or other cables in the arm.

The fit and finish is very high quality. The entire arm uses a substantial post, which sits on an equally substantial "socket" that allows the entire assembly to easily rotate in its mount.

The microphone mount uses high-quality brass fittings, instead of plastic.

There also is a channel with plastic snapping locks to hold your microphone cable, whether it be USB or XLR. As you can see, the channel also is deep enough to hold my pop filter bracket.

The spring tension is very strong, maybe even too strong. I am using mine with an Audio Technica ATR2020-USB microphone. I use this setup for Zoom calls and voice overs. This is the older version, and it's a substantial microphone in terms of weight.

The Blue adjustable dekstop boom arm, I believe, can easily handle any microphone - regardless of its weight. If I add a shock mount, I know that I won't have to worry about it overwhelming this arm.

The desk mount allows me to easily swing this out of the way when I'm not using it. I also can adjust the arm so that it keeps the microphone at the desired height.

I would say that if you're looking for a quality product, this outperforms those inexpensive arms in so many ways. It might cost twice as much, but it's twice as better - maybe even more.

By the way Sweetwater delivered this in two days. It is one of the best vendors with excellent customer service.

Easy to install and with the mics the boom is effortless.

The integrated cable management channel and ease to set this mic up make this stylish yet functional. The arm rotates freely and is silent, unlike other mic arms I have used. I love that there's no ugly, loud visible springs

The build quality is solid and the finish is smooth. Great mic arm for the price, I recommend.

Words cannot express how much I love this stand. My mic fits comfortably on it and my pop filter. Also it was easy to install on my table
